We hope that with all these list of things to do, you have found what speaks to you most to do “Aruba your way”. Select a category or mix and match, choose what makes you the happiest, and let Aruba take care of the rest. You will only return with a happy heart, smiles on your faces, and a soul full of sunshine. But before we let you escape to this Caribbean paradise, because we love you so much we wanted to share two more bonus activities to add to your list! These surely will fill your day with fun and joy. So here goes:
De Palm Island
This is a perfect bonus spot when we talk about things to do in Aruba whether you are a solo traveler, on a couple’s getaway, group of friends/family, or looking for relaxation or even adventure. Escape to this all-inclusive private island that belongs to the De Palm Tours for a day and have all your needs taken care of right in this one place.
The cost for a full day pass of De Palm Island can be purchased from the concierge desk at your hotel for about $108 USD for teens and adults (Ages 13-18+) and $79 USD for children (Ages 4-12). The opening hours of the park are from 9am – 5pm and the above mentioned cost covers your to and from pick-up from the hotel to the pier, ferry ride, all day food & drinks, unlimited banana boat rides, water park, snorkeling and access to the beach. And if all this is still not enough, for an additional fee you can also indulge in some massages on the beach, adventurous activities like Snuba and Sea-Trek, or even reserve yourself some beach cabanas for true relaxation.
All this and much more in just one place at one single price is definitely a must on your itinerary as it has something for everyone!
We went to the De Palm Island with friends and it was truly the most memorable time from our trip. You get to spend fun and quality time with your loved ones sipping on unlimited drinks, chatting, snorkeling with your squad to see a school of native parrot fish and colorful corals, slide down some slippery twirly slides along with going on fun, speedy and bumpy banana boat rides, all of which were the highlight of our day here at the island. Definitely something for which we would take a day out again on our next trip to Aruba.
Things to know:
There are lounge chairs on first come first serve basis, but you will have to carry your own towels, and ofcourse your bathing suit and the unmissable sun block. We also recommend having your water shoes on you. The snorkeling gear will be provided free of charge at De Palm Island, so you need not carry one unless you want to.
If you wish to go for Snuba & Sea-Trek we would recommend doing it the first thing when you get to the island and also before you start hanging out at the bar.
Lastly, as if all these options weren’t enough, there is another super fun and complimentary activity you can sign up for: Salsa dancing!
Whether you’re an expert dancer or someone with two left feet, you can go ahead and try the Salsa workshops to get into the vibe. Here is the link for more information on days, time etc. https://arubasalsa.com/
(Not sponsored at all, just something we tried while in Aruba and had a lot of fun doing it!)
And if dancing is not at all your thing we hope you found plenty other things from the list. As we said there is something for everyone on this Happy Island of Aruba

When everything gets back to normal I HAVE to go to Aruba! I’ve been meaning to do it for years, but I never got around to it.
Do it this time around! You will fall in love and would want to go every year! There are so many visitors who have been going to Aruba for over 10 years straight, it’s that nice of a place 🙂
We had a trip planned to Aruba in April before everything was shut down and still want to visit someday. Aruba is so beautiful and it looks like there is so much to do.
This pandemic has cancelled out so many plans 🙁 but we hope you still get around to visiting Aruba. There is something for everyone here, making it such an all-rounder getaway.
I was just at De Palm Island in December!! It was so fun!
So glad you had a great time there Brianna! It is our favorite too, a good fun day out, more so when with a group of loved ones!
da palma island sounds like a lot of fun. too bad the massages are not included in the fee. 😉
Oh we know what you mean! Imagine if they were included, I think we would be going there every single day haha.
Going to De Palm Island sounds like a lot of fun. I have heard a lot of amazing things about Aruba. Hope to visit it soon
You wouldn’t be disappointed Paolo! There is something for everyone and De Palm Island is the perfect addition to the itinerary, for a fun filled day.
I have never been to Aruba but it has been on our list for a while. This looks perfect!
We hope you get to go super soon Marie 🙂

It is a must do when in Aruba, definitely a super fun-filled day!
I miss traveling! I have heard a lot about Aruba but haven’t had a chance to visit it yet. I’m sure my family would love to spend a day at De Palm Island. It sounds like a lot of fun for all the age groups.
It’s perfect for groups and families as there is something for everyone to do all in this one place 🙂 We hope you and the family gets to visit super soon! Plus can’t wait for this pandemic to be over already, truly miss exploring places like these.
I haven’t been in Aruba. De Palm Island looks amazing! I hope to visit this paradise soon!
It is a must add to the itinerary, there is literally something for everyone in the group, all in this one place. We hope you get to visit super soon 🙂
The people are wonderful in Aruba. I recommend going off the beaten path and eating all the seafood you can find.
Absolutely agree, the people truly make it a “One Happy Island”. Everyone is just so happy, helpful and hospitable in Aruba!
And oh yes, so many gems off the beaten path and can’t miss out on all that fresh catch!
When I read your blog post title, I immediately started humming the Beach Boys song. I would love to visit Aruba someday.
We love that song and funnily hum it every time we are off to Aruba haha 🙂 Even now it’s stuck in our heads post reading your comment! But we hope you get to visit Aruba super soon Shannon.
