- What is the best time to go to Bali & Gili islands: During the dry season (April-September) more so if you wish to engage in water sports and snorkelling. Among these months June-August tend to be the busiest with a surge in prices due to school vacations and again the same goes for December due to Christmas/New Year break. So we could recommend to plan away from these peak months but within the dry season for a seamless and enjoyable experience.

- How to get from Bali to the Gili islands: The most popular and economical way is through ferries and speed boats that leave from several piers across Bali (Padang Bai Port, Serangan Pier, and Sanur Beach Port) The journey takes around 1-5 hours depending on the type of boat, tour operator and the pier you begin from. The cost is somewhere between 20-50 USD one way per person. You can book it here and find the time and price that best suits you.
