Things to know before you go
Now before you delve deeper into the list of fun things to do in Aruba, we want to answer a few basic questions that might be running through your mind.
- Best time to go to Aruba: All year long whichever month suits you best! However, here is how the months are divided that affect the room prices. High season is from September-March & low season runs from April-August.
- Weather in Aruba: Bright & sunny all year long with a rather constant temperature of 82 degree Fahrenheit (28 degree Celsius). There is no hurricane season in Aruba as the island is situated outside of the hurricane belt. The rain here is scarce accounting for a total of 18-20 inches per year and most in the months from October-December. But even the showers here are in bursts, sections and not even the whole island at once and last only a few minutes before the sun comes back out shining brighter than before.
- Your visa to Aruba: American, Canadian, and EU citizens do not require a tourist visa including many other nationalities, the list of which can be found here. Also Indian nationals are not exempt from a visa however if you are an Indian national with a valid US visa (whether a tourist or residential) you are good to go in that case too.

[…] One Happy Island (Yes! That’s what this island is called, click to find out why) […]
Aruba looks so gorgeous and perfect romantic gateway for beach lovers. The flamingo beach looks gorgeous and views of Lighthouse are beautiful.I have seen many pics of flamingos of Aruba, glad to know renaissance hotel issued day pass to visit flamingo beach. This is quite helpful guide.
Happy you found this helpful Mayuri 🙂 Stay tuned for more guides on Aruba coming up. And yes the Renaissance Hotel changed up the pass buying system making it online but they get sold out so quick so it is definitely recommended to keep a day or two open in the itinerary to try your luck in getting to the island based on availability.
I didn’t realize that the island was so small. I’ve heard a lot about it, and would loved to have seen more images of the white sand beaches. It seems like this is the main reason people go to this island.
Ahh yes the world class beaches are definitely a major reason, but despite being small it’s perfect for adventure lovers, foodies, even shoppers.
And you can check out some flamingo and powdery white sand beach photos here
🙂
The white sandy beaches itself makes me excited. The Caribbean islands are all gems in themselves and Aruba seems the perfect happiness destination. Thank you for taking me on a vacation from home. A place now I know why it has to be explored sometime.

That makes the three of us! Really can’t wait to be out lying on soft sand and swimming in the sea once again.
I had long time desire to visit Caribbean Islands and in that Aruba simply looks stunning. I loved its white sands and pristine turquoise blue waters and they both look very relaxing to me. It really looks One Happy Island with contrasting landscape and amazing weather.
You must visit Aruba it truly is an all rounder. Something for every travel type and yes the weather is warmth and sunshine all year long, and being outside of the hurricane belt really makes it the ideal amongst the others.

Caribbean is dreamy for sure. Aruba got me with its powdery stretch and gorgeous shade of water. White sandy beaches are just something we all need these days. We just need to hold on a little more before we can travel. I would love to do this tropical escape for relaxation, art, history and food.
We hope you get there super soon 🙂 And oh yes we can totally relate to that feeling, we can’t wait to be out there on soft white sand, swimming in the sea and eating all that delicious food.
Hopefully soon
The name Aruba actually makes me happy and I always thought it was a romantic destination for couples from the pictures on Instagram. I am so pleased it is for adventure lovers as well and I will definitely be going on the ATV when I visit.
I’m adding Aruba to my bucket-list.
Exactly why we love this island so much, truly caters to so many different travel styles. You would love the ATV tours and even snorkelling around a WWII German Shipwreck and swimming in the natural pool. Aruba looks so gorgeous. Infact, the first picture itself had me pining for the place. I really love the sound and meaning of Dushi Tera! The Flamingo Beach looks so beautiful. Aruba truly has so much to offer to travellers of every kind. And yes, the bonus is really cool. I would love to go for a scuba at De Palm island.
Glad you liked the recommendations in these guides and yes a day out at De Palm Island truly is so much fun and a must do, so many activities in just one spot!

[…] Aruba has plenty of sailing options that offer their own versions of fun in the sun and we have been on quite a lot of them, but there is nothing quite like this ginormous 115-foot wooden schooner.
